Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and Carl Orff - Carmina Burana

'Sacred and Profane'.

Join Perth Choral Society for a concert of two twentieth century masterpieces.

Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms is a sacred work that has all the verve and rhythms of his West Side Story. Combining this with Carl Orff’s dramatic profane cantata Carmina Burana will make for a night of high octane choral singing and outstanding orchestral playing.

With soloists Emily Mitchell, (soprano), David Douglas (tenor), Jerome Knox (bass) and the City of Perth Sinfonia

Conducted by our Director of Music, Peter Rutterford

Tickets will be available  from Society Members or from Perth Concert Hall Box Office £20 - U18s free.
